Natalie & Evan

Natalie and Evan chose an idyllic spot in Stanley Park to say ‘I Do’ in front of their family and friends, covered by a canopy of cherry trees in full bloom  and framed by a rose gold antique frame.

Guests enjoyed cocktails and canapes at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia before being seated in the stunning Spanish Ballroom. The three-course plated dinner was served in a room filled with pink flowers, rose gold accents, and two life-sized cherry blossom trees.

The couple’s custom monogram with compass graced the middle of the dance floor while the Famous Players Band had guests dancing from the first beat, framed by a city skyscape print to match the couple’s stationery.

No detail was too small and perfectly captured the bride’s vision of an ‘Urban Fairytale’, all brought to life by Christie Lang and her team.

See more of the incredible details, featured on WedLuxe!

Chantel & Rajen

Chantel and Rajen did the impossible and pulled off a surprise wedding for 450 of their family and friends with the help of DreamGroup and their team of vendors.

While the happy couple got ready at Hotel Georgia and let their families in on the secret, guests enjoyed a custom menu served up by food trucks Roaming Dragon and Vij’s Railway Express. Chef Vikram Vij even made a personal appearance to the delight of the crowd.

The stunning white reception tent with all the intricate decor details and lighting took a small army a week to create from scratch at the Groom’s parent’s property. Absolutely everything had to be brought in!

Four months of intense planning and execution was well worth the looks of surprise and delight when guests realized they were attending a wedding and not an engagement party!

We are excited that this celebration of love was also featured on the Real Weddings blog!

Jayson’s Bar Mitzvah

Jayson’s nautical-themed Bar Mitzvah kept guests dancing and entertained until the very last song!

After a traditional Havdalah service, guests were invited into the ballroom of the Beth Israel Synagogue which had been transformed by Evan and the team from Flowerz with blue and white-themed nautical vignettes. While the kids enjoyed first dibs at the delicious food stations by Nava, the adults were mesmerized by the magician skills of Justin Gilbert and the musical stylings of Jordan and Taylor from Hot Wax Entertainment.

And who can forget the selfie polaroid booth, airbrush tattoos, and FlipBook favours? This Bar Mitzvah had it all and was topped off by a nautical-inspired candy bar!

Raphaela and her team gave this young man a night he – and his family and friends – won’t soon forget!
