We chose DreamGroup and Jessie as our full-service wedding planner for our wedding in 2023 Summer at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Jessie understood exactly how we envisioned our wedding day and introduced us to the perfect vendors with her expertise around local vendors. Her planning was always timely, very organized, and had clear communication and action items for us to follow through the entire process. This will be a long review, but only because we are so grateful for Jessie helping two of the most disorganized people around pull off the wedding of our dreams. Of all the decisions that we made in the lead up to our wedding, choosing her as our wedding planner was easily the best.

We originally reached out to Jessie about two-and-a-half years before our wedding because we wanted to have it on a particular date and do not live in Vancouver anymore (so we wanted to tour venues during one of our trips back here). She quickly arranged for us to tour multiple venues that fit our requirements, and even when the one we wanted said they were not taking reservations that far in advance, her strong relationships and persistence helped us change their mind and lock it in.

Jessie’s wealth of knowledge of different vendors in Vancouver (even slightly niche ones like our bubble tea station and ice sculptures) was essential as we were preparing our detailed budget. We had a lot of specific asks, particularly around décor/design and food; she had opinions on each vendor based on her past experiences – and now that we’ve actually had the wedding, we can confirm that all of those opinions were correct. She is easily one of the most organized and detail-oriented people we’ve ever met: she planned ahead of time so we could see vendors whenever we were in town, she reviewed every contract for us, and she kept both us and the vendors on track with clear deadlines (necessary since we are huge procrastinators!). She was both practical and adaptable throughout the process, helping us work in last minute additions (such as a fog machine for our first dance) but also reminding us when we were breaking our budget.

As amazing as Jessie was during the planning stage, she was equally as amazing on the wedding day itself. The day-of timeline she helped us prepare had every little detail down, including many that we never would have thought of ourselves – for example, how to ensure gifts would be transferred to the bridal suite securely. The only issue that came up on the day of (at least as far we were aware; if there were any others, she probably handled it) was the groom’s buttons not fitting his shirt, and she had the sewing skills and equipment on hand to clean up his mess. She made it so that we did not have to think about anything but looking good for photos, hosting our guests and enjoying ourselves.

Even more impressive was that she had another wedding the next day, but you never would have guessed based on the attention she gave us (we only learned about it via Instagram the next day). All in all, we cannot recommend Jessie more: she is the ultimate pro, and given the work she put in plus the number of headaches she saved us, her services were worth every penny (and more!).

Jessie was simply THE BEST wedding planner one could ask for! We had the privilege of working with her for over three years (thanks to multiple COVID postponements). We are still on cloud nine from the most perfect wedding day and we could not have done it without Jessie K from DreamGroup.

As a couple that lives in the US, she made planning a wedding in Vancouver the most seamless experience. Starting from day one, her extensive experience in the wedding industry definitely showed as she helped us develop our wedding vision and select venues/vendors based on our preferences. She coordinated so many moving parts for our site visits in town and she never missed a detail! And for the things that we were unable to see/try in-person, she was also the best advocate on our behalf and I 100% trust her judgement on any decision! She was super detail-oriented, organized, and anticipated our needs and the vendors’ needs even before we asked. She was extremely responsive and quick to respond to us about any question we had…I don’t think we ever got an email response that was more than a few hours after we sent it!

Even with multiple COVID postponements, she made the experience completely stress-free and managed all the communication with our vendors and made sure we could still have the wedding of our dreams. Hope we can plan another big party/event again just so we can work with Jessie!!!

If I were to give anyone any wedding advice, it would be to hire Jessie from DreamGroup to help them plan/coordinate their wedding. When my partner and I originally started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted a relatively small ( 60 people), relaxed, restaurant wedding, and honestly, I didn’t think we needed a coordinator. However, based on the advice from a friend, we reached out to Jessie and I can say that it was the best decision that we made! She was essential to our wedding and working with her was an absolute dream.

The weeks leading up to our wedding were stress free because we knew Jessie had everything under control. She is organized, detail oriented, calm, and so incredibly thoughtful. Communicating with her was a breeze – she was always quick to respond to our questions and concerns, and she also made us think of so many details that we would have missed without her service.

On the day of our wedding, our vendors and family members knew exactly what was happening at what time because of her incredibly detailed timeline (the true star of the show!) and clear communication. The entire day from start to finish was perfect and stress free thanks to Jessie and her team. I honestly cannot recommend her enough or say enough great things about her and her team, so I will just leave it as every wedding, no matter how big or small, needs a Jessie!!!

Jessie is literally the best wedding planner and she was the reason why we had such a magical wedding day! We were planning the wedding from the United States which can be challenging in a lot of ways but Jessie really made the wedding planning process super easy and smooth. She visited all of the venues that I really wanted to go to and video-called me. She explained all the pros and cons of each venue and I felt like I was there visiting all these places with her. She really went above and beyond to make my vision come true.

Jessie has so much to offer! I relied on her advice, expertise, and recommendations throughout the entire planning process. She would hop on a call on a short notice and helped me decide whenever I was stuck! She always responded so quickly and she provided the upmost care and service at all times. She even gave suggestions on little details as she is very detail-oriented.

She is also extremely reliable. I could count on Jessie on anything and she would execute all tasks to perfection. Whenever Jessie was doing something, I never worried as she would do things earlier than anticipated and to perfection. She is also very accommodating and receptive to what you want on your day. Throughout the process, there were unexpected changes and she was there to help us through it all. She listened to all of our needs and ensured to make them come true. She even suggested things that we hadn’t thought of and those little touches made our day that much more special.

On the wedding day, she made the entire day go very smoothly. It’s been more than two weeks since the wedding and our guests are still raving about our wedding. Some have told us that it was the best wedding that they’ve attended. I give all of the credit to Jessie, her planning, and her hard work behind the scenes. Without Jessie, I honestly can’t imagine how the day would have been! I would recommend Jessie to anyone who wants to have an amazing and magical wedding experience. I already recommended her to my close friends! She is literally truly truly amazing and the best in this field.

If you’re looking for someone to help make your dream wedding a reality, we highly recommend Jessie from DreamGroup! From the very first meeting up to when the last vendor left our venue, Jessie was impeccable with her level of detail and organization. Without Jessie, the wedding never would have gone as smooth as it did. She really went above and beyond from contacting all of the vendors to helping out set up all of the decorations.

Her eye for detail and design is excellent! She helped us with transporting all of our decorations to the venue and made sure that everything was set up in the exact way that we wanted it to! After the ceremony, Jessie helped us transport the florals from the arch to our sweetheart table and made it look immaculate!

These are just the few things that she’s done. Jessie always helped to make great suggestions and was always there for us whenever we had any questions! She is just amazing! Thank you Jessie for helping us make our special day even more memorable!
