CONSIGN YOUR WEDDING DRESS!

Want to join in the fun but only have your wedding dress leftover from your wedding? Are you ready to part with it? Here's the perfect opportunity to clean out your closet.

For those Past Brides that only have a wedding dress that they want to sell, you can sign up to Consign your wedding dress and DreamGroup will sell it for you. Your dress will be exposed to at least 300 interested Brides in one day!

Here's how it works:

1. Sign up with DreamGroup to Consign your dress. You must be registered 36 hours prior to the event. Consignment Registration will open once the date of the next Bridal Swap is announced.

2. Set the price that you want to sell your wedding dress for. For tips on how to price your dress, refer to our FAQ page. Dresses must be priced at no more than $800 to be accepted.

3. Bring in your dress to the Bridal Swap on the day of the event.

4. Brides to Be will be able to come in and try on the dress and if it sells you will receive 70% of the sale price (less any credit card processing fees).

5. Any dresses that do not sell by the end of the day can be sold through SmartBride Boutique (an online local classified that exposes your dress to Brides to Be) so you will have a second chance to sell your dress.

Tips for Selling your Dress:

1. Dresses must have been purchased between 2007-2011.

2. Your dress must be drycleaned. If a Bride can walk away with a dress that doesn't need to be dry cleaned you will increase the likelihood of it being sold.

3. Set your selling price at something that Brides can't resist! Your selling price should be 40-60% off the original price. For tips on how to price your dress, refer to our FAQ page. Dresses must be priced at no more than $800 to be accepted.

INCREASE THE EXPOSURE OF YOUR DRESS! 

As  a registered Bridal Swap seller, you can increase the exposure of your items by having them listed on SmartBride Boutique’s website.

This listing will include the photo of your dress and all of the dress details, along with a message telling Brides that they can Try on and Buy the dress at the Bridal Swap. 

This is a great opportunity for Brides to Be to actually see & touch your dress thus allowing a greater chance of it being sold.  If however, it doesn’t sell at the Bridal Swap, you will have a second opportunity to sell your dress through SmartBride Boutique as your listing will continue on their website until it’s sold or until you remove it.
